Welcome to Doora Mobility.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Doora Mobility's website, mobile application, WhatsApp booking services, telephone booking services, and transportation services.
By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
Company
Doora Mobility ("Doora", "Company", "We", "Our", "Us").
Customer
Any individual or organization booking or using our services.
Driver
A driver employed by or associated with Doora Mobility or its verified fleet partners.
Vehicle
Any vehicle provided through Doora Mobility.
2. Services Offered
Doora Mobility provides:
- Airport Transfers
- Local Rentals
- Hourly Rentals
- Outstation Travel
- One Way Trips
- Round Trips
- Corporate Transportation
- Employee Transportation
- Wedding & Event Transportation
- Chauffeur Services
- Luxury Vehicle Rental
- Tempo Traveller Services
- Intercity Travel
- Customized Travel Solutions
Availability depends on location and vehicle availability.
3. Eligibility
Customers must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate booking details.
- Use valid contact information.
- Comply with applicable laws.
4. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after:
- Booking confirmation by Doora Mobility.
- Successful payment (if applicable).
- Vehicle allocation.
Doora Mobility reserves the right to reject or cancel any booking where necessary.
5. Pricing
Fare may include:
- Base Fare
- Distance Charges
- Time Charges
- Toll Charges
- Parking Charges
- State Tax
- Driver Allowance (Outstation)
- Night Charges
- Waiting Charges
- Airport Entry Charges (if applicable)
- GST (where applicable)
Prices displayed at booking are estimates unless specifically confirmed as fixed-price.
6. Payment
Accepted payment methods include:
- UPI
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- Net Banking
- Cash (where permitted)
- Corporate Billing
Invoices will be issued where applicable.
7. Advance Payment
Doora Mobility may require advance payment depending on:
- Vehicle category
- Trip distance
- Corporate booking
- Event booking
- Luxury vehicle booking
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation.
8. Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellation
More than 24 hours before pickup:
- Free cancellation (unless otherwise specified).
12–24 hours before pickup:
- Cancellation charges may apply.
Less than 12 hours before pickup:
- Up to 100% of the booking amount may be charged, depending on the booking type.
No Show
If the customer is unavailable after the applicable waiting period, the booking may be treated as a no-show and cancellation charges may apply.
Company Cancellation
If Doora Mobility cancels a booking due to operational reasons, any prepaid amount will generally be refunded or an alternative vehicle may be arranged, subject to availability.
9. Waiting Charges
Waiting time beyond the complimentary period may attract additional charges.
The applicable complimentary waiting time and rates will be communicated at the time of booking.
10. Route Changes
Any change in destination or travel route requested after the trip begins may result in revised pricing.
11. Driver Conduct
Drivers shall:
- Hold a valid driving licence.
- Drive safely.
- Follow traffic laws.
- Maintain professional behaviour.
- Respect customer privacy.
12. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Treat drivers respectfully.
- Wear seat belts where available.
- Avoid smoking or consuming prohibited substances in the vehicle.
- Avoid causing damage to the vehicle.
- Follow all applicable laws.
- Ensure children use legally required child restraints where applicable.
13. Damage to Vehicle
Customers may be held responsible for costs arising from damage caused by them or their accompanying passengers, subject to applicable law and reasonable evidence.
14. Luggage Policy
Customers are responsible for:
- Their luggage.
- Ensuring luggage complies with vehicle capacity.
- Collecting all belongings before leaving the vehicle.
Doora Mobility is not responsible for unattended or forgotten items but will make reasonable efforts to assist in recovering them.
15. Lost & Found
Lost items recovered by drivers may be retained for a limited period.
Recovery and delivery of lost items may involve applicable handling or courier charges.
16. Safety
Customers should:
- Verify the driver's identity before boarding.
- Share trip details with family if desired.
- Avoid distracting the driver.
- Contact emergency services immediately in case of emergencies.
17. Prohibited Activities
Customers shall not:
- Carry illegal substances.
- Carry weapons unless legally permitted.
- Engage in unlawful activities.
- Harass drivers.
- Damage vehicles.
- Use the vehicle for criminal purposes.
Violation may result in immediate trip termination without refund and reporting to authorities where required.
18. Delays
Doora Mobility is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Traffic congestion
- Road closures
- Weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Vehicle breakdowns despite reasonable maintenance
- Strikes or public disturbances
19. Third-Party Partners
Some rides may be fulfilled by verified fleet partners.
Such partners are expected to meet Doora Mobility's operational standards, but availability may vary by location.
20. Refund Policy
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method within the applicable banking timelines.
21. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Doora Mobility Privacy Policy.
22. Intellectual Property
The Doora Mobility name, logo, website content, trademarks, graphics, and branding remain the exclusive property of Doora Mobility.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Doora Mobility's liability for any claim arising out of the use of its services shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the relevant booking, except where liability cannot be excluded under law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
24. Force Majeure
Doora Mobility shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, civil unrest, or similar events.
25. Dispute Resolution
The parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes amicably.
If a dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be subject to the courts having jurisdiction in Pune, Maharashtra, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
26. Changes to Terms
Doora Mobility may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
